Authenticity

Our group strives for accuracy in our clothing and accessories. Wherever possible our kit is based on contemporary sources and artifacts. If no such resources exist, we base these items on reasonable interpretations by professional historians and archaeologists.  However, we do use butted mail in place of riveted due to the high cost of custom made riveted mail.  We hope to obtain more authentic mail when our resources permit it.
